The Spill The Tea Collection from Superchic Lacquer is a six piece collection of one coat super linear holographics. This collection is seriously stunning and the amount of holo is insane, I’ve had a few Superchic Lacquers before, but when I saw these I immediately knew I was going to love them, especially since they’re all based on some gossipy tea reading phrases! Since these are insanely pigmented it is recommended you use a stain blocking base coat so rather than my usual peel off I swatched these with Bring It On! Stain Blocking Base Coat from Superchic Lacquer and used her sickening Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat she sent with the polishes as my top coat.
This collection is available now they released earlier this week and each polish retails for $14 each, however with my code SERIOUSLY you can get 10% off all Superchic Lacquer products. So now that we’ve gotten into serious details, let’s get into the fun stuff and lots of photos!
Each of the swatches shown is two thin coats of polish and one layer of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat from Superchic Lacquer unless otherwise noted. All images are shown under Ottlite bulbs as well. To watch the live swatch click here.
“Throwing Shade” is a smokey indigo blue linear holographic with a hint of some hidden periwinkle blue flame throughout. This is such a deep inky shade that it makes me thing of snowflake manis right away, I wanted a color like this during the holidays and none I had really “fit” you know this one will be making appearances then.
Queen Of Tea
“Queen of Tea” is an intensely vibrant sour apple green linear holographic that soooooo reminds me of the moment the apple gets poisoned in Snow White. this is such a perfect shade for some Halloween manis, or even just to brighten up a summer one, I’m in love with it. I’m not even a huge fan of green to start with but this one just got me.
“Exposed” is a bright vibrant pink raspberry linear holographic with so much inner holo flame it is insane. This is my favorite of the entire collection, because uh duh it’s pink, which is one of my two top favorite colors!
“Juicy” is an intense deep tangy orange linear holographic with a hint of some fiery golden flame throughout. This color is so deep and daring, it is going to be perfect for Halloween manis especially if it is paired up with a little bit of the “Queen of Tea”.
“Spill It’ is an icy bright intense cotton candy blue linear holographic. This is the only polish I actually did two coats on while swatching and that’s because as I brushed on the first layer I overlapped an area and it seemed to wipe the polish on one side and cause a streak in it that you can see in the live swatch. This is my second favorite in the bunch because it is sexy as hell!
“Dirty Laundry” is a beautiful bright green eye catching yet a little subtle teal linear holographic. It’s pretty magical and it pairs perfectly with “Exposed” as you can see in the nail art I had to do right away when I got it below!
Overall these are all gorgeous polishes and they are the first full collection of polishes I own that go on in truly just one simple coat. I cannot wait to see how they stamp and watermarble as well. So if you love them snag them up because I guarantee like most Superchic Lacquer polishes these will sell out quickly and don’t forget you can get 10% Off all Superchic Lacquer products with the code SERIOUSLY
