Hella Holo Customs Valentine’s 2017 by Femme Fatale

This month in the Hella Holo Customs Facebook Group two special shades were released for Valentine’s Day this year from Femme Fatale. If you don’t know about the Hella Holo Customs Group then you can check it out at the link in this post, it is a group where different indie polish makers each month create custom holo shades only for the members in the group. It’s really a wonderful group and run by some amazing admins who work hard to organize and facilitate everything within the group, from getting idea images, to holding polls for names, and getting awesome polishes made for everyone then made available for us all.

These two colors are both beautiful and I loved them the moment I saw them, Femme Fatale did an awesome job, which is no surprise. So let’s get into checking them out.

Each of the swatches shown is two thinĀ coats of polish and one top coat of Seche Vite Quick Dry Top Coat unless otherwise noted. All images are shown under natural sunlight bulbs as well. To watch the live swatch click here.

“Dollface”

“Dollface” is a peachy pink base with brighter pink and gold shimmer to it and tiny bits of gold glitter throughout. It is an absolutely gorgeous shade with such a versatile shift in numerous forms of light, I didn’t expect to love it like I do, but I can definitely see myself wearing this on numerous occasions.

“Love Bug”

“Love Bug” is a fuschia colored base with a kind of purple and blue shimmer throughout with gold and pink glitter bits within. It dries very matte and the shimmer really needs a coat of glossy top coat to show up. This shade is absolutely gorgeous and has sch a mesmerizing quality to it.

Overall both of the shades are gorgeous and I absolutely loved them. They are not currently available for purchase however if you join the Hella Holo Customs Facebook Group then you can swap, sell, or trade for these. They may also have quantities available at the next inventory sale they hold, they keep overstock from each months and sell them there. Although at this time I am unsure when that is so join the group, and check for updates.
