If you’re a hardcore fan of Glam Polish like I am then you likely already know about the Glam Polish Fans group on Facebook, however if you do not then I suggest clicking the link and checking it out. Each month Glam Polish creator, Rachel Griffin, releases two fan group exclusives only available to those included in the group on a limited edition basis. Once they’re gone, they’re gone, so these are super beautiful super limited edition shades. These will release on October 27th and as always you need the code from the post in the Facebook Fan Group linked above to purchase.
This month the theme for the fan group exclusives continues to be Fantastic Fandoms Duos. For the this theme we voted and chose the Wizard of Oz specifically Dorothy and Glinda the Good Witch! I voted for this theme just like the one last month, so I am definitely excited about these polishes based on Dorothy and Glinda! These are also so far my favorite fan group exclusives to be honest, not even joking I got them opened them up and was gushing right away I immediately emailed Rachel and was like O-M-G! But enough about that, let’s get into the gorgeousness!
Each of the swatches shown is two thin coats of polish and one top coat of Top Coat from Glisten & Glow unless otherwise noted. All images are shown under Ottlite bulbs as well. To watch the live swatch click here.
Are You A Good Witch Or A Bad Witch?
“Are You A Good Witch Or A Bad Witch?” is a sparkly pink holographic with rainbow shifting iridescent glitter, rainbow iridescent glass flecks and fine holo micro-glitter. This went on for me in two easy coats though I did go in a little thicker with the second coat. This is so freaking beautiful, it is definitely my favorite of all the Facebook Fan Group Exclusives I own…and I own a lot.
Somewhere Over The Rainbow
“Somewhere Over The Rainbow” is a blue subtle holographic crelly with shifting multichrome flakies, bright blue micro-flakies and silver ultra holographic glitter and fine holographic micro-glitter. This…is…gorgeous! This took three coats to be completely opaque and did have a little bit of a texture, but just one coat of top coat completely smoothed it down and there was texture to it. This is so gorgeous and reminds me so much of that gingham dress of Dorothy’s
Overall these are both gorgeous shades and must haves for anyone who loves The Wizard of Oz or holographics because duh look at that holo in them, need I say more the photos really speak for themselves. Every month I feel like Rachel just knocks these customs out of the park and this month was no exception to that. So snag them while you can and check out some additional nail art with them below!
*BONUS NAIL ART*
Below are some nail art looks done with one or both of the colors from the duo, some of these may be in tutorial form on my Instagram or YouTube channel so be sure to check those out!
