The 5 Year Anniversary Duo from Painted Polish is gorgeous duo to celebrate Lexi’s business Painted Polish reaching it’s 5 Year Anniversary mark. That is such an amazing accomplish for any business, but especially for a one woman show, this duo is so pretty and perfectly gives off that bright happy celebration vibe. Lexi killed it, just like she does with most every type of polish she whips up, so it’s no surprise this duo is a new fave of mine already. This duo will be available August 1st at 1:00 p.m. CST and will retail for $20 as a duo and each polish will also be available individually. “Here’s To 5 Years” will retail for $12 individually and “Stamped In Honeydew” will be available for $10. Now that we’ve got the technical details out of the way, let’s get into the swatches!
Each of the swatches shown is three thin coats of polish and one layer of Get your Shine On! High Shine Quick Dry Top Coat from Vapid Lacquer unless otherwise noted. All images are shown under Ottlite bulbs as well. To watch the live swatch click here!
Here’s To 5 Years
“Here’s To 5 Years” is a beautiful bright peridot green linear holographic with a sprinkling of holographic galaxy glitters throughout giving it a little bit of extra oomph and making it one of Lexi’s gorgeous as hell ultra holographics. This goes on fully opaque in two coats and almost went on in just one, the sparkle in it is so gorgeous and it really just pops on the nail. I’m not huge on greens, but thus one actually gave me a few design ideas already, so I’m excited to play with it!
Stamped In Honeydew
“Stamped In Honeydew” is a bright Summery one coat honeydew green stamping creme. Protip for everyone reading most stamping polishes should be one coat OR should only very BARELY need a second coat or they likely will not actually stamp well. All of the cremes from Painted Polish I own stamp well and are one coaters, so they pass the test!
Overall both of these polishes are gorgeous as hell, and the duo is a steal at only $20 for both polishes, so check them out and get them before they’re gone!
