Cruisin’ Into Polish Con – Road to Polish Con Week 5

The Cruisin’ Into Polish Con polishes, are a trio of exclusive polishes for Week 5 of the Road to Polish Con from Cupcake Polish, Glisten & Glow, and Different Dimension! These are three of my favorite makers, and these polishes are gorgeous, beyond holo filled, and absolutely amazing! These polishes will only be available for a week from July 30, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. EST to August 5, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. EST and will be just $10 each. If there is over pour available it will be available at The Polish Convention in Chicago on September 23, 2017 – but over pour is not guaranteed, so definitely snag these while they’re available on the site!

These polishes are each named after and inspired by three different sightseeing cruise boats in celebration of Navy Pier’s 100th year! On these sightseeing boats you can enjoy fireworks, dancing, music, culture, food, cocktails, and even the beautiful sunsets on the pier – all of which went into the inspiration for these gorgeous exclusives. When they say “Nothing on land compares.” They mean it, in the case of the experiences and the polishes inspired by them!

Each of the swatches shown below is two thinĀ coats of polish and one top coat of HK Girl Top Coat from Glisten & Glow unless otherwise noted. All images are shown under Ottlite bulbs that mimic natural sunlight. To watch the live swatch click here.

Mystic Blue

“Mystic Blue” is a gorgeous azure blue super linear holographic with beautiful green to blue shifting shimmers and is Sara of Cupcake Polish’s contribution to the trio. This is super gorgeous and amazing and went on super smooth in just two coats, but honestly I could have gotten away with just one.

Odyssey II

“Odyssey II” is a beautiful bright magenta pink linear holographic with a subtle hint of copper shimmering throughout and is Missi of Different Dimension’s contribution to the trio. This goes on super smooth as well and is also pretty much a one coater, when I put it on I had a bit of nail tip I could see through in bright light.

Spirit of Chicago

“Spirit of Chicago” is a stunning indigo purple linear holographic with violet and blue shimmers and tiny silver microflakies throughout and is Jill of Glisten & Glow’s contribution to the trio. This went on super smooth in two easy coats and was completely smooth with one layer of top coat. I know when there are microflakies some people shy from polish afraid of it having a texture, but this one definitely does not.

Overall these three polishes are gorgeous as hell and limited edition, once they’re gone they are gone. So even if there is over pour brought to Polish Con if it runs out then they won’t be available after. So snag then while you can, because holos as gorgeous as these that fit so well together with each other don’t come around often!

In addition to the live swatch I’ve also done several nail art looks and will be releasing tutorials on some of these looks during the week on my YouTube Channel – so head on over there to check out how to get your favorite looks. But you can preview some of the gorgeousness below!
